Triclimb Arben Top Deck

The Arben Top Deck is a versatile Triclimb addition, turning your Triclimb or Triclimb Pwt into a stable platform, large step stool, jumping stage or tabletop helper.

The Arben Top Deck is a simple high platform designed to fit the original Triclimb and the Triclimb Pwt (mini). Using a unique joint system, it quickly and easily fixes to the top of your Triclimb without any tools. Children will love the unique vantage point accessed by the Top Deck, which provides a rigid platform or stage from which they can sit, stand or jump as their confidence and abilities grow. The self-supporting strength of the Triclimb gives the Arben Top Deck it’s stability, allowing children to test, explore and physically problem solve using their bodies. What are the two holes for on the platform? These are for adding the Arben Top Deck Wheel or Horse, available separately. Enhance the Triclimb play opportunities for young children with the Arben Top Deck.

The Triclimb Arben range is a collection of accessories compatible with both the Triclimb original and Pwt mini frame. ‘Ar ben’ is a Welsh word meaning ‘on top’ as this is a collection of accessories which is mounted on top of the Triclimb frame. These accessories are made in Wales from premium timber sourced from responsibly managed forests and thoroughly tested for strength and stability.

The origins of the Pikler triangle climbing frame come from Emmi Pikler a Hungarian Paediatrician who pioneered theories on child development in the 1930/40s. Centered around a respectful relationship between infant and parent as well as natural progression of motor development through free movement and play. Emmi Pikler believed it was important to offer children the opportunities to move naturally according to their inherent ability.
