A wine traditionally crafted from the Monastrell grape, showing its signature full-bodied character, dark berry notes and velvety mouthfeel. History: Bodegas San Isidro is one of the leading and most dynamic producers of the Jumilla DO. Together with winemaker Inmaculada Perez they have developed the Carta Roja range.
Regional information: The wine is made from grapes grown in the rugged valleys of DO Jumilla in southern Spain, where the warm, dry climate is particularly well-suited to the native Monastrell variety.
Vinification: Winemaking at Bodegas San Isidro begins in the vineyards with selection from the best plots and careful monitoring of the maturity process. Following the selection and maceration the aging process takes place in American oak casks.
